Families urged to be on the lookout online for final free Car Park Panto tickets
The main sponsors of the world’s first drive-thru Christmas panto road show has said it has been delighted by the response of local communities across the country.
Lookers has urged families in the area to keep a lookout on its social media channels for a final opportunity to win free tickets to the sold-out performances.
In addition, Lookers staff will have the opportunity to nominate a “local hero” who will be given free tickets and VIP status at the performances.
In the last few weeks, Lookers agreed to partner as main sponsor for Horrible Christmas, the world’s first nation-wide Car Park Panto tour produced in partnership with the Birmingham Stage Company and Horrible Histories.
With dealerships close to each of the Christmas Shows 17 locations, Lookers has said that it hopes the performances will provide an uplifting and festive feelgood experience for families and local communities as the New Year approaches in a safe, socially distanced manner, from the comfort of their own car.
One of the UK’s leading automotive businesses, Lookers is an ever-growing multi-franchise dealer group which represents 32 volume and premium car manufacturers throughout the UK and Ireland. Car Park Panto is delivered by Birmingham Stage Company and creators of Car Park Party, Coalition Agency.
Duncan McPhee, Chief Retail Operating Officer at Lookers, said:
“The Car Park Panto will provide the laughter and cheer that we all desperately need. We are so happy to be able to have played a part in bringing back one of the true traditions of Christmas.
“Put 2020 behind you (he’s behind you!) by ending the year with one of the best British Christmas traditions - family, fun and laughter, all from the safety and comfort of your own car.”
Guy Robinson, CEO Coalition Agency, promoters of the show, said:
"I'm so grateful to have Lookers as our main sponsor for Car Park Panto, such a well-established and respected business. In a year when everything has literally been turned upside down, to finish on a high, and help save just a little bit of Christmas spirit, means the world to us. We can't wait to welcome the local community into our festive extravaganza.”
