Change of Ownership
On the 4th July 2018 Pollendines Motors (Frinton) Ltd was bought by Lookers Motor Group Limited, a subsidiary of Lookers Limited, one of the largest Motor Dealers in the UK with over 130 Dealerships throughout England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Pollendines has had a close relationship with Lookers for over 8 years and indeed the new cars that Pollendines has supplied to its customers over this period have been procured through the Lookers Ford dealer network in Essex & Suffolk, comprising 7 other Ford dealerships including those in Chelmsford and Colchester. Furthermore, warranty claims have also been administered by Lookers throughout this period.
Lookers is delighted to have brought Pollendines into its family and will be investing further in the dealership to provide the very best value and customer service that you are entitled to expect from a company of its size whilst retaining the same level of local dealer familiarity.
During the transition period you will note that you are still receiving an invoice from Pollendines Motors (Frinton) Ltd though now you have the added assurance and support of Lookers and therefore we wish to bring to your attention the following information in relation to your consumer rights and protection.
Lookers Motor Group Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 309424). The business of Pollendines has been transferred to The Dutton-Forshaw Motor Company Limited (FRN 474287), a wholly owned subsidiary of Lookers Limited and an Appointed Representative of Lookers Motor Group Limited, which operates our Ford dealerships in Essex and Suffolk.
