The staff were unprofessional, unhelpful and rude. They jeered and sniggered as I drove into the car park in my old car and were so disorganised with the car I was going to view. I would never return. Not helpful in the least and a joke of customer service.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of after-sales service we have received from Mercedes-Benz in Tonbridge. We experienced an issue with the vehicle alarm around a year ago, when the alarm would randomly go off during the night. The vehicle was booked in and we were told that the issue had been resolved. Unfortunately, we are now experiencing another alarm-related problem. While the symptoms are slightly different this time — the alarm now goes off when the doors are opened, the ignition is started, or the vehicle begins to pull away — it is still an extremely disruptive and serious fault. What I find completely unacceptable is having to wait more than two weeks just to get the vehicle booked in and the issue addressed. The alarm is repeatedly going off, disturbing both us and our neighbours, and the vehicle is effectively unusable because we cannot open the doors, start the ignition or drive away without triggering the alarm. This is not a minor inconvenience that can reasonably wait for over two weeks. I would expect a premium manufacturer such as Mercedes-Benz to recognise the seriousness of the situation and make every effort to provide a much earlier appointment or an alternative solution. Problems with vehicles can happen, but it is the quality of the after-sales support and how quickly problems are dealt with that really matters. In this case, the lack of urgency and the length of time we have been expected to wait are extremely disappointing. For a Mercedes-Benz dealership, I expected a considerably higher standard of customer service and after-sales care. Unfortunately, our experience with the Tonbridge garage has been anything but that.

I recently purchased a car from Audi Guildford and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. George Corner was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He made me feel completely at ease, answered every question I had and he went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and fully understood exactly what I needed and wanted from my vehicle. I never felt pressured or rushed into making a decision, George took the time to make sure I was happy and confident with everything throughout the whole process. I couldn’t recommend Jonathan at Lookers Middlesbrough enough. From start to finish, he was absolutely brilliant and couldn’t have done any more to help. He kept me fully in the loop throughout the whole process and made sure everything was sorted and that the car was the best of the best before I received it. Even after I received the car, Jonathan went above and beyond by checking in to see how everything was and making sure I was happy. You don’t always get that level of care and customer service, and it really made the whole experience so much better. A massive thank you to Jonathan for all his help and effort throughout. He genuinely couldn’t have done any more to help, and I’m extremely happy with the car and the service I received from Lookers Middlesbrough. An absolute credit to the team!
