Lookers Stockport SEAT has been awarded for its exceptional customer service from the Motability car scheme.
This award follows a string of successes for the dealership, coming at a time where the site has scored highest on the Best Companies Employee Engagement survey with three stars, won dealer of the year 2018 within the SEAT network and made a record profit in 2018.
The accolade is part of a programme of awards run by Motability Operations to recognise and reward outstanding customer service provided by local Motability dealerships. The Dealer Awards take place quarterly and are judged by customer feedback as well as reviews of dealership performance. All winners of the quarterly awards are automatically entered into the national, annual awards which are announced at the beginning of the following year.

This award also follows a successful Motability Awareness Week, delivered across Lookers’ dealerships nationwide at the end of 2018. The week saw dealerships raise awareness of the Motability scheme and make its dealerships more accessible for Motability customers. Dealerships organised Autism Hours, where they dimmed the lights and turned down the music in order to create a more positive sensory experience for customers with Autism. Lookers also invited customers to visit their inclusive dealerships to find out more about the scheme and discuss options with Motability Specialists.
Following the successful Motability Awareness Week, Lookers’ dealerships across the UK and Ireland have been continuing to offer inclusive experiences for all customers, providing excellent customer service and personalising appointments to suit the individual.
The award win for Lookers SEAT Stockport is further confirmation of the positive work Lookers are doing to cater for Motability customers.

Anyone who receives the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance, the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment, War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement or Armed Forces Independence Payment can exchange their weekly payment to lease a new car through the Motability Scheme. Insurance, servicing, RAC breakdown assistance and replacement tyres are included in the cost of the lease.
