On the 3rd July, staff from our Vauxhall branch in Liverpool will be taking part in a 50-mile bike ride in order to raise money for The Alzheimer's Society.
Mike Webster, Mark Smith, Chris Green, Scott Robinson, Kevin Donaldson and Peter Hankinson will take part in the 23rd annual Liverpool – Chester – Liverpool bike ride to raise money for the 850,000 (approx) people with dementia in the UK, a number which is set to rise to 1 million by 2021.

Rebecca Sansome, Jonny Bowers and Adam Carney from Lookers head office will also be taking part in the Great Manchester Run - Europe's largest 10k run - on the 22nd May to raise funds for our nominated charity, The Alzheimer's Society.
There is currently no know cure for dementia, but the money raised will provide support and guidance to not only those who live with this progressive disease but also their carers and family members, as well as funding research in order to find a cure.
After successfully navigating their way up and down Ben Nevis and raising an incredible £11,000 for British Heart Foundation, a team consisting of Darryl Jones, Chris Worth, Paul Bentley, Neil Carrahar, Jon Sadler, Peter Garratt, Peter Ferris, Gary Lancaster and Craig Sturgeon aim to take it a step further by climbing the highest mountain in Wales, Mount Snowdon and the highest mountain in England, Scafell Pike in the space of just 48 hours.
