Lookers Vauxhall Support British Transplant Games

This August, the British Transplant Games 2018 will take place in Birmingham. It will see thousands of transplant recipients and their supporters take part and Lookers Vauxhall Birmingham will be behind them every step of the way as the Official Vehicle Sponsor.

From Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th August, transplant recipients of all ages will participate in a variety of sports at venues across the city to celebrate the life-changing impact of organ donation.

Lookers Vauxhall have provided a selection of vehicles for the weeks leading up to the games and across the weekend of the event to support logistics and movement between the venues.

The British Transplant Games aim to celebrate the life-changing impact of transplantation and raise awareness of the benefits that organ donation brings to both donor families and recipients, encouraging the public to discuss their wishes with their families and join the Organ Donor Register.

James Neuberger, Chair of the British Transplant Games Local Organising Committee, a Trustee of Transplant Sport and Consultant Transplant Physician at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, is looking forward to the celebrations.
