Today is National Clean Air Day, a day which invites the public to examine their pollution outputs and look at ways to reduce their emissions. With over 500 events happening across the country, everyone is getting involved in Clean Air Day to reduce their environmental impact. One great way of significantly reducing CO2 emissions, is by driving electric cars, something which we’re heavily promoting with our Lookers Electric Charge. We’re heading across the UK and Ireland using only electric and hybrid vehicles to raise money for automotive charity Ben.
As part of our journey, Lookers’ CEO, Andy Bruce had the chance to test drive the brand new, all-electric Jaguar I-Pace prior to its official launch. Listen to him describe his first impressions of the pure-electric 395bhp car and explain why the Lookers Electric Charge is not just about fundraising but showcasing some of the incredible research and developments changing the motoring landscape. Jaguar has set a new standard with a 90 kWh lithium ion battery that will deliver up to 298 miles! Find out more about the Jaguar I-Pace and what Andy Bruce thought by watching the video below.
You can follow all the action from the Lookers Electric Charge microsite at LOOKERS.CO.UK/EC4BEN, the Lookers YouTube Channel LookersWebTV, and Lookers’ Facebook and Twitter pages @lookersgroup, all of which use the hashtag #LookersEC4Ben.
