Dacia has reached its milestone 25,000th sale after just 18 months of operation within the UK. The brand has currently taken orders for a further 3,500 units, and its sales are rising every day.
The 25,000th car was sold at Bristol Street Motors in Derby, to Alison Beirne. Alongside her purchase of the car, the dealership's Sales Manager Andrew Peacock presented her with a bunch of flowers, and a year's gym membership at a local facility. The 25,000th vehicle sold was a white Dacia Sandero Stepway Laureate TCe 90.
Mrs Beirne commented that as soon as she saw the car at the Derby showroom, she knew that the vehicle was perfect for her. She commented: "It looks good, the higher seating position is great and its got some good features, including the touchscreen sat nav. I know Dacias have great reliability, so it won't let me down either."
The Sandero sits in the Dacia range alongside the Sandero Stepway, the Logan MCV and the Duster. Dacia's selection of high-quality and well-built vehicles have caused the brand's growth to be considered one of the most successful car launches in the history of the UK.
