Exterior
The Mercedes-AMG CLS 53 4MATIC+ is a car that grabs your attention from the word go thanks to striking AMG features such as the powerful front grille, and a bonnet sculpted to emphasise the lean front aspect. The body contours and side skirts sweep dramatically back to the twin chrome exhaust pipes and up to the sports spoiler. Prominent wheel arches give this AMG a sturdy yet sophisticated look and house impressive 19-inch, five triple-spoke, Titanium Grey alloy wheels.
Interior
Inside the CLS 53 AMG is a cabin fitted with luxurious interior* which makes the AMG sports seats complete with AMG emblem embossed on the front seat backrests. The front seats are also heated so those cold winter mornings won't feel so chilly. The multi-contour seat package allows drivers to set the seat adjustment, seat cushion length and backrest curvature which can then be stored in the memory package.
Performance
The CLS 53 AMG is powered by a massive 5.5-litre V8 engine. Not only does this roar to life when you turn the ignition, but it races from 0-62mph in 4.1 seconds, producing 585 hp and 800 Nm of torque. It's exceptionally quick and equally as smooth.
Safety and technology
Drivers can select from four modes – Comfort, Sport, Sport Plus and Manual – to easily handle different terrain and road conditions. To balance things out a little, Mercedes-Benz has built in automatic start/stop technology to conserve energy when you're at a standstill.
To keep you as safe as possible, Mercedes-Benz has built in its Pre-Safe system, which anticipates any collisions and takes evasive action. As well as this, the CLS 53 AMG has multiple airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners and much more.
