A Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) for instance allows you three options at the end of the agreed term:

Part-exchange the vehicle for a new car

Pay the optional final payment (agreed upfront) and keep the car

Return your car with no further payments (subject to terms and conditions)
Other options include Personal Contract Hire (PCH) and Hire Purchase (HP) . PCP is essentially a lease plan. You will not own the car at the end of the period, however if you are a driver who loves to change car and access new models every few years this could work very well for you. Hire Purchase meanwhile allows you to spread the cost of ownership over a fixed period, which can be very helpful when budgeting.
