The ŠKODA KAMIQ combines the agility and handling of a compact car with the traditional advantages of an SUV – higher seating position, better visibility, easier to get in and out, and higher ground clearance.
At the front, the powerful and confident appearance of the new ŠKODA KAMIQ city SUV is defined by a wide radiator grille with double slats, a typical feature for the ŠKODA SUV design. The striking silver-coloured front spoiler underscores the model’s off-road looks. This sophisticated model is topped with a two-part LED headlamp design. In addition, the KAMIQ is the first ŠKODA to have dynamic indicators at the front and rear, crystalline headlamps and LED units.
The interior of the ŠKODA KAMIQ is characterised by the new interior concept presented on the VISION RS concept. With the optional 10.25 inches Virtual Cockpit and generous amounts of space this compact SUV has plenty to offer. The KAMIQ offers state-of-the-art safety systems with front assist and lane assist offered as standard, optional adaptive cruise control (ACC) and optional side assist, detecting vehicles that are up to 70 metres away or in the car’s blind spot.
Optional rear-view camera and park assist, which automatically manoeuvres the KAMIQ into and out of parallel and bay parking spaces, lend the driver a hand when parking. The integrated manoeuvre assist function automatically brakes the city SUV if the sensors detect an obstacle in front of or behind the car during parking.
The car can be accessed remotely using the ŠKODA Connect app or web portal. This feature allows owners to lock and unlock their car or check whether all of its windows are closed – all from a distance. In addition, car owners can conveniently call up information while on the go and find out how much fuel is left in the tank. Other vehicle and driving data such as the car’s mileage or the speeds it has travelled at can also be accessed.
Infotainment apps such as the news, weather and online traffic information can be installed on the Amundsen infotainment system.
