Beware of recent DVLA Phising scams

In recent weeks, the DVLA has warned the public of phishing scams making their way around Britain.

Bogus emails, texts, and phone calls claim to be from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency, pointing people to a seemingly official website in order to obtain crucial details from them. Whilst there is an investigation underway, it’s vital that you are aware of such scams and don’t fall prey to them.

The DVLA have stated that they don’t send links to websites asking for personal or payment information and strongly advise anyone who receives a request to do so NOT to open the link and to delete the message immediately. To ensure that you are dealing directly with the Agency, only use the online driving licence or vehicle tax transactions available on GOV.UK.
