Vauxhall's all new Combo Cargo reaches 4000 orders
Only recently launched in to the market in September 2018, the Combo Cargo is off to a flying start with over 4000 orders taken.
What makes the Combo stand out is its new and fresh architecture. Additionally, the van is available in a selection of variants which include short wheelbase, long wheelbase and spacious crew cab. Compared to its rivals, it also holds a load volume of up to 4.4m3, a payload of up to 1000kg and a loading length of up to 3.440mm.
Along with this, drivers of the combo can ensure that the vehicle is not overloaded by pressing the sensor-based overload indicator. The Combo Cargo’s range of innovative technologies and driver assistance systems make driving and manoeuvring much easier; this includes the optional rear-view camera and IntelliGrip traction control system.
As well as its new and impressive architecture, the Combo Cargo also features a new generation of infotainment system which features an eight-inch colour touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to boast outstanding on-board connectivity.
Steve Eley, Lookers Vauxhall Franchise Director commented, “It is great to see the success of the Combo Cargo since its launch last month. The pairing of the well-executed van and strong marketing campaign has allowed the Combo Cargo to cement it’s place firmly as a confident choice in the van market.”
The new marketing campaign surrounding the Combo follows the slogan ‘Carries British Business’. Through mediums such as a TV ad and social media activity, the campaign celebrates the innovative, hard-working and entrepreneurial character shared by the van and its drivers.
The outstanding order figures paired with its impressive award wins of International Van of the Year 2019 by journalists across 25 European countries and both Light Van of the Year 2019 and Light Commercial Vehicle of the Year 2019 at the What Van? Awards prove it is definitely a van worth shouting about.
