Crosswind Assist
Fitted as standard across the Transporter 6.1 range, Crosswind Assist will keep you on course even in strong gales.
Front Assist with City Emergency Braking
Volkswagen were the first to include Front Assist and City Emergency Braking as standard across its entire van range. The upgraded Front Assist detects when a vehicle ahead is getting too close, along with pedestrians and cyclists. With the Transporter 6.1's brakes ready, the system will partially apply the brakes to give you a helping hand should the risk remain.

All-new for the Transporter 6.1, an integrated SIM card (eSIM) now comes as standard and opens up a huge range of smart connectivity solutions. eCall has the capability to automatically send the van's location to an emergency response centre. If the driver is unresponsive, eCall will automatically contact emergency services.
