On the front you'll find a Singleframe with three-dimensional honeycomb grille bearing the quattro badge sitting above a blade that extends across the entire width of the front into the side air inlets, where it forms narrow funnels for better air flow through the wheel arches.
LED headlights feature as standard with matrix LED headlights available as an option. Air flow separation is improved by a fixed spoiler lip on the luggage compartment lid. On the rear of the vehicle sits a distinctive diffusor insert with vertical struts and large oval tailpipes.
The 400PS version of Audi's 2.5-litre TFSI engine allows the RS 3 Saloon to accelerate from 0 to 62mph in 4.1 seconds with power transmitted to the road through a seven-speed dual-clutch S tronic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive. This makes it the most powerful engine on the world market with a unique sound which intensifies an already emotionally charged driving experience. This sound comes from having the ignition alternate between directly adjacent cylinders and widely spaced ones and can be modified using Audi drive select.
The RS 3 Saloon is equipped with progressive steering, four-link rear axle and is 25mm lower than the standard A3 Saloon making it the perfect partner for the powerful drive system. A stable centre position allows it to steer into curves with precision.
The sporty and practical design continues inside the car with an atmosphere of sporty elegance. The driver and passenger can enjoy black fine Nappa leather sport seats with RS logos on the backrests. The latest in Audi technology also features in the form of optional MMI navigation plus with MMI touch, voice control and optional Audi virtual cockpit. An electrically extending MMI screen with a 7-inch diagonal features as standard.
