For the first time, the Audi RS 5 Sportback will be available in the UK.
Exterior Styling
This new model boasts curves with taut, athletic surfaces. At the front, it features a wide, flat singleframe grille, solid air intakes with a honeycomb structure and a front spoiler with matte aluminium quattro lettering. On the rear, you'll find an RS-specific diffuser insert, an RS exhaust system with oval tailpipes and a fixed spoiler lip to give the car a sporty look.
Interior
The high-quality interior further emphasises the sporty nature of the car with RS sport seats and a flat-bottomed RS multifunction steering wheel. RS emblems can also be found on the seats, the steering wheel, the sill panel strips and the selector lever. The boot has a 480-litre capacity which can be increased to 1,300 litres by folding down the rear seats.
Engine
The Audi RS 5 Sportback is equipped with a 2.9 TFSI V6 biturbo engine with 450PS and 600Nm of torque. This power allows the car to go from 0 to 62mph in only 3.9 seconds. the power is transferred to the quattro all-wheel-drive system via an eight-speed tiptronic transmission that is specially tuned to sporty driving.
Sport Edition
The Audi RS 5 Sportback Sport Edition will also join the line-up, and opened for order in June 2019.
With only 250 units being built, the Sport Edition will be the only RS 5 model on the UK market in 2019.
It's powered by the same 2.9-litre V6, but throws in uprated 20-inch alloys, a panoramic sunroof, adaptive dampers and Audi's sport exhaust as standard.
