Volkswagen understand that no matter what kind of drivetrain your vehicle has it needs to be robust and dependable. By combining their expertise with ABT e-Line, they've taken the same impeccable standards you’ve come to love about their vehicles, but updated the drivetrain to be more sustainable than ever.
With a range of 82 miles*, the ABT eTransporter 6.1 is perfectly suited to many different business types, including couriers, delivery drivers, and local businesses. Plus, a 6.7m3 load volume and a payload of up to 1,001 kg makes it easier to meet the demands of your working day. The ABT eTransporter 6.1 will be available to order as either a panel van or kombi from July 2020.
The new ABT eTransporter 6.1 is available in two trims. Both come with a wide variety of features, including the following highlights:
Functionality & Security
No two jobs are the same, which is why Volkswagen have designed the ABT eTransporter 6.1 to give you ultimate space and versatility. The ABT eTransporter 6.1 has the perfect rear door solution, no matter what the job is. Every van is available with a choice of either a large tailgate or versatile rear wing doors, and are available glazed or in solid metal for added security.
The ABT eTransporter 6.1 features several storage options to create an organised and uncluttered cab, including cup holders, a foldable ruler tray, and upper and lockable lower glove compartments. The eTransporter also has LED lighting throughout the interior, including in the cargo area as standard.
Extra peace of mind comes as standard in the ABT eTransporter 6.1 with eight fastening aids which ensure your cargo is held firmly in place when driving. Extra features available include half height hardboard side panels and adjustable lashing eyes in the load compartment.
Available on the ABT eTransporter 6.1 with a bulkhead, the new split locking functions keep you and your load safe and secure. The Postman mode is designed for drivers who are in and out of the cab often; it locks the load doors when the ignition is switched on and can only be unlocked and opened from within the van. Workshop mode allows you to keep your personal equipment and paperwork safely locked in the cab, but keeps the load area unlocked so you can still get on with loading and unloading without any fuss.
