The worst customer service ever. I am still waiting on a call back from service department and manager regarding the treatment. Furthermore no one has contacted me about warranty work that I was informed needed to be carried out and needed to be book. I telephoned two days after service to get an invoice (which hadn’t been sent) and to speak to service department - i left my number with two people but nether have called. Now going to raise a complaint.
I recently bought my Q8 from this dealership. Salman Siraj provided me with an exceptional customer service (so rare nowadays) and was really helpful at each stage of purchasing process. It is not my fist Audi, but the first one bought from Sal and his team. Very likely I will be coming back to them again in future when looking for new car. If the had a minus stars system, I would use it. I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Lookers Volkswagen Blackpool based on my recent experience. I have had my car for just 20 days, and under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, any vehicle sold by a dealer must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If a fault is identified within the first 30 days, the buyer has the right to reject the vehicle or request a repair at no cost. From the start, the process was poor. When I collected the car, I was simply handed the keys with no log book and was told to tax the vehicle myself, with a promise of reimbursement that never happened. Despite this inconvenience, I chose not to raise a complaint at the time. Shortly after, I noticed faults and reported them via email, booking the car in for repair. As someone who uses my car for work supporting people with learning disabilities, as well as transporting my 8-year-old child, safety is critical. One of the individuals I support actually cut her finger on a broken red seatbelt button in the back, which clearly raised serious concerns. When I dropped the car off as agreed, I later received a message stating I owed over £250 to repair the seatbelt issue. I immediately requested a call back and explained my consumer rights, as this fault was present within 30 days of purchase. I was repeatedly told that because the issue was not noted on the MOT paperwork, I must have caused the damage. After going in circles with staff and requesting to speak to a manager, had a call from the assistant manager. Who did not have any knowledge of consumer rights. Yet again stated if the MOT assessor did not raise it, I have caused the damage. I went to collect the car, a member of staff, glared at me, got the keys and handed them over. Same lady that informed me over the phone that I had caused the damage, the MOT assessor would never make a mistake. All hail the MOT inspector. I received, no interaction, whilst I stood silently with my arms folded. Obviously, I asked to speak to a manager, I was eventually told only in person that the assistant manager had seen photos of the car uploaded online prior to sale, which clearly showed the seatbelt was already broken. Same assistant Manager that informed me, he would bet on the MOT assessor rather than me. Despite this, there was no apology or accountability. To make matters worse, I queried whether the car had a valid MOT. I received conflicting answers from the assistant manager one MOT assessor stating it was valid, you know the one that doesn’t make mistakes, another suggesting he wouldn’t have passed it. I was refused a copy of the MOT certificate and even denied the name of the person who carried out the inspection. I also requested a call from the main manager, which never happened. He was returning at 3:30pm. Overall, this experience has been stressful, unprofessional, and concerning from a safety and legal standpoint. I am now taking this further, as I am left unsure whether my vehicle even has a valid MOT. Based on this experience, I strongly advise others to avoid purchasing from this dealership.
Year old car went in for its first service which was hugely expensive. Arrived on time explained only the back tyre needs pumped up and left. Got a call to collect around 1.30pm. Car was fine. and oh my goodness the rudest young woman of all time ignored me was on their reception - not a single word/ no casual chat/invite to have a coffee/explanation about what she was looking at on screen. I waited being ignored for approximately 15 mins. Eventually she printed out the report and passed me the card machine. Not thanks for your customer service, do call again etc. etc. makes me cross that I paid to be treated as though I didn’t exist. I left saying I hope your day improves - I can only guess it had been rubbish to reduce her to deliver such appalling treatment
