Driver Assistance

The optional Travel Assist is an extremely practical driver assist system. At the touch of a button, it ensures driving comfort* by providing assistance in monotonous and tiring driving situations.

Particularly on motorways and good country roads, Travel Assist can keep you in lane and maintain your speed, taking into account the distance to the traffic ahead. It helps you to cope effortlessly with congestion and stop-start traffic with the aid of the DSG dual clutch gearbox.

A special highlight is the interplay between the navigation system and drive management in hybrid mode. When you start the vehicle and enter your destination into the navigation system whilst in hybrid mode, it will optimise the interaction of the combustion engine and electric motor for the entire duration of your journey, making the most efficient use of both drives. This results in optimum fuel consumption and extends the electric range to the maximum.

At the touch of a button your vehicle glides smoothly over cobblestones or leans into corners like a sports car, all thanks to the adaptive chassis control. You can choose from the driving profiles “Comfort”, “Eco” and “Sport”, and there is also the option to change settings yourself.
