Have to say these guys are masters at sorting problems Purchased our car sight unseen in December. Alan Martin was fabulous at making the process very smooth. He was transparent and informative and very helpful However as ever the joys of motoring stepped in and we had a steering issue occur at the beginning of March. As Alan had made sure the car had been sold with full warranty the car was taken in immediately and we were put in a courtesy car (Albeit Enterprise won’t be getting five start review - unhelpful and unorganised but thankfully Lewis, another one of the team members at Audi stepped in at the end to sort logistics with them instead of us having to run about like headless chickens to return the car to Giffnock!) However - back to Audi - it was found the tyre was not as it should be during the inspection and Chris Clark the sales manager, without any issues, stepped in and replaced the tyre without question while the steering was rectified Thank you to the team at Audi! Any dealership can sell cars - customer service matters only when things go wrong which they ultimately will. It’s how customers are treated then that matters and in this case Team Audi were excellent (even putting up with my over emotional wife 🤣🤣🤣- she gave me permission to say this)
Purchased our Q3 from Alan Martin who helped us tremendously. Would also like to mention Chris Clark the Sales Manager who, along with Alan, sets the example of how to sell cars without issue. No fuss. No Stress
And it all started so well.... Until they seemingly had our money and then the attitude of staff and speed of response changes dramatically for the worse! We purchased a car from them after receiving a walk around video and description stating how clean the car was and how it had no dings or dents along with what we thought would be a hassle free transaction due to them being a Mercedes main dealer, in fact we were so confident we opted to just pay for it and have it delivered without viewing. Unfortunately for us this was a huge mistake that took 4 weeks of stress, disagreement and the threat of legal action to finally resolve. The car arrived with us having received no cleaning inside or out, the one small scratch that was pointed out during the video that we were assured would polish out still very much visible and untouched, and 3 separate areas of damage to the bodywork not disclosed including damage to the front bumper, gouges on a door handle and deep scratches on the bonnet. We also had to chase them to receive the service history for the car and have never received the V5 Logbook or even the New Keepers slip. Then the most significant issue of all.....no oil in the engine despite a full service having been carried out by them prior to our purchase and which their response was to tell us to open and close the bonnet and this would resolve it as it was a sensor issue! Luckily we had it inspected by our local Mercedes main dealer who were shocked to discover an oil level well below the minimum on the dipstick despite being "serviced" by Mercedes Stoke prior to being sold to us. When we were forced to formally reject the car we had the sales manager shout at us down the phone before he just hung up and which he later apologised for via email, and it was only after we threatened legal action that 4 weeks later they finally collected the car and refunded our money, although even then, despite being given a deadline for our refund which was agreed in writing by them, part of this refund was not sent until the day after it was supposed to reach us. This refund was also refused initially as we didn't have the V5 Logbook but the whole process for this is done at the point of sale by the owner (them!) and it was only when we requested a copy of the email they would have received from the DVLA confirming when they had carried out the Ownership Transfer that they decided not to use this as a reason to refuse our refund. We never received any sort of apology for the obvious inconvenience, their attitude throughout was shocking (after they had our money), and no satisfactory offer to resolve the issues with the car so that we could keep it were ever offered even though we desperately wanted to keep it. Instead we were met with ignorance, arrogance and bullying to try and force us to do as we were told by them. Rather than simply accept their stance we politely and respectfully stood our ground and understood our legal rights which won through in the end. We would also say that we made a complaint directly with Lookers who own Mercedes of Stoke who give themselves 14 days to respond but over 3 weeks after did so we have still not received any sort of reply from them either showing the sort of contempt they have towards customers. All of this has been so unnecessary and all completely because of their poor preparation standards, appalling service standards and awful attitude towards customers. Luckily we know this is not a brand issue but rather an issue at dealer level and this is where Mercedes themselves should step in as we are not the first to have similar problems at Mercedes Stoke and we sadly won't be the last. Hopefully others will read the poor reviews BEFORE using them....we certainly wish we had.
Recently bought a polo from this garage after buying a t-cross the previous year. However I've had problems with polo. Noisy windscreen wipers a rattling noise at the back started up soon after first use. I've tried to resolve theses matters but with little success. They offered to put me in for a diagnostic appointment in 2 months time. I'm a driving instructor i need it asap. The girl I spoke to her advice to me was ring roadside assistance if you break down. The wipers are extremely noisy making my students jump when they start working. Ive just been sent some through the post after 3 weeks of asking. A new set but surprise, surprise they were the wrong fitting. Just feel badly let down after spending 40k in 2 years with the company. Jack the salesman was the fine but the aftersales is shambolic at best.
I had a very disappointing experience at Volkswagen today. I was told the work on my car would take around two hours, but it ended up taking more than three hours, which was already frustrating. I was waiting there with my four-year-old daughter, which made the long delay even more difficult. While we were waiting, my daughter accidentally made a few small pen marks on the leather sofa in the waiting area.which can easily remove they asked me to pay for it and asked for one girl work for them to clean that mark She cleaned the marks with a spray in less than 10 minutes, but then they charged me £100 for it. What was even worse was how the staff treated me. The situation felt very humiliating and disrespectful, and the staff were rude and unprofessional. I completely understand if something needs to be cleaned, but charging £100 for a quick 10-minute wipe and treating a customer in such a manner is unacceptable. Overall, I found the service slow, the staff rude, and the handling of the situation extremely unfair. Unfortunately, this was a very bad customer experience, and I would not recommend this place based on how I was treated today.
A 100% positive experience! Jasmine at Audi was absolutely incredible. She wasn't just extremely friendly and talkative, she also made the entire car handover feel incredibly special and personalized. She was a huge help with all the paperwork, turning what could have been a tedious process into a positive part of the overall experience. Her approach made everything run smoothly, and we left feeling genuinely looked after and cared for. If you're looking for an unforgettable car buying experience, I highly recommend seeking out Jasmine!
