The service whilst I was buying was very good. However since then, it has been 2 months of stress. I part exchanged and they were meant to sort the finance. It has been 2 months and this has not been sorted. I have had to call multiple times, been ignored a lot. And it is still not sorted and I am now in arrears thanks to Mercedes/Lookers. I would honestly stay away if you are part exchanging a car that is still on finance. I have asked to speak to managers on 3 separate occasions and not one manager has ever gotten back to me. I have had to send the details of the outstanding finance to 2 different people and nothing has been done. This is inexcusable

Just picked up my Raval VZ. Absolutely delighted. Came in for the V2, had a word with Jon Grant, worked out a decent deal and drove out with the VZ instead. Fabulous car and a great all round experience. Could highly recommend this dealership for all things Cupra.

I purchased an approved used car from Brighton Mercedes in July 2026. Whilst the salesperson initially offered what appeared to be a good deal, I had not physically inspected the vehicle and placed my trust in their assurance that it would be fully prepared and roadworthy upon collection. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. Almost immediately after driving away, my wife noticed that the front passenger seat was moving backwards and forwards whenever I accelerated or braked. I returned the vehicle straight away, only to discover that the passenger seat had not even been bolted securely to the chassis. This was an extremely serious safety issue which could easily have resulted in catastrophic consequences or serious injury had it gone unnoticed. On the journey back to London, I also experienced repeated errors with the front windscreen camera system, which forms part of the vehicle's safety and collision detection technology. I immediately raised these issues with the salesperson and the sales manager, Luke Crowhurst who did everything possible not to take my calls and then only after the complaints department got involved, the salesperson assured me that Brighton Mercedes would cover the cost of rectifying these faults, along with anything else subsequently identified. However, when the vehicle was inspected by my local Mercedes dealership, the manager from Brighton Mercedes, Luke, appeared to take an entirely different position, denying responsibility and leaving me to deal with the situation myself. I was particularly disappointed by the apparent contradiction between what I had been promised by the salesperson and the position subsequently taken by the manager. I was also left extremely concerned by the conflicting accounts given to my local dealership. Although some of the faults were eventually rectified under warranty, that does not excuse the condition in which this vehicle was supplied or the way the subsequent issues were handled and be left to be rectified at my own cost. My biggest concern is that Brighton Mercedes supplied a vehicle with a fundamental safety defect, namely a passenger seat that was not secured to the chassis, alongside faults affecting its safety camera system. This is simply unacceptable from a Mercedes-Benz dealership, where customers rightly expect the highest standards of vehicle preparation, safety and customer service. The experience has seriously undermined my confidence in the dealership. A good initial sales deal means very little if the vehicle is not properly checked before collection and the dealership subsequently refuses to stand behind its commitments. My advice to anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from Brighton Mercedes: exercise extreme caution, thoroughly inspect the vehicle before taking delivery, and get any promises or assurances in writing.
