I had a really great customer experience for once again from Mr Brandon and I can say that Mercedes Benz of Brighton has improved their customer service level since my last few visits. An only advice I could give is about when they provide loan/courtesy vehicle to be at the same or even better standards of a Mercedes Benz vehicle to promote the brand’s products and to make customers feel valued.
It's been a month since I complained twice and still no response. I clearly stated I don't want to deal with Blackburn, especially after being lied to. I was mis-sold and misinformed when purchasing my car finance. I specifically declined the additional interior warranty but was told it would be included at no extra cost. I was assured it would be shown and then removed from the finance agreement. When I mentioned the payments were lower on the website, I was told the calculations there were only for guidance and more accurate figures were available in the showroom. However, when I checked later, the £500 deposit contribution was something I was entitled to anyway, so it wasn’t free as claimed. While this was eventually amended, you simply cannot mislead people like this, especially considering FCA guidelines. When I collected the car, it was in an unacceptable condition—sticky sweets in the glove compartment, a dusty dashboard, old packaging in the side door, and an awful smell, as if something had died inside. I couldn't use the complimentary five-day insurance because I supposedly didn’t meet the underwriting criteria, which makes no sense given I have 30 years of driving experience and over 20 years of no claims bonus. It felt like a cost-saving measure with no valid reason to decline me. To make matters worse, when I visited the Preston branch for advice on the brakes, the staff member was extremely rude. When I asked for help, he responded with, "What do you want me to do?" and "Go back to Blackburn, go back to where you got it from." This experience contrasts starkly with the outstanding service I received at Hyundai Preston last year when I purchased my Ioniq 6, including no issues with the complimentary insurance. This entire ordeal has been deeply disappointing. Is this really how Lookers treats customers? It's been a truly unpleasant experience.

My ageing E Class failed its MOT . Required a new rear subframe. I looked up costs online estimates exceeding £2K. Contacted Mercedes who were familiar with the issue and suggested that there was a chance it could be a goodwill claim. I thought this unlikely on an eleven year old car but accepted the invitation for a free inspection. I was called the day before to confirm. On attending I was greeted by Nick McBride who knew who I was and why I was there. (Seems silly but this is not always the case at dealerships) Nick turned my appointment into a waiting job for me. Within an hour (with a nice coffee) my inspection was complete and Nick had secured a 100% warranty contribution. I agreed to leave the car for completion. I was called the next morning to be informed by Nick that on stripping they found both rear road springs snapped . They were in stock and fitted labour free as they were in the same vicinity as the subframe. At lunchtime Nick called me gain to tell me they were finished. He confirmed my bill in advance and it matched what I had been told. I came to collect paid by bill and left very happy in a freshly cleaned car. Nick McBride and Lookers gave first class service. NB. I am a retired dealership Head of Business .

Hello I’ve just been stood around for 20mins given the fact that an advisor was busy but we were waiting and once he was free didn’t bother coming to us or asking if we needed any help? Another person had walked in and was served straight away poor service and discrimination from your end. Never come across an issue like this it’s like we were invisible to the advisors.
