I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience purchasing an “Approved Used†vehicle from Mercedes Worcester. Within just one month of ownership, the car has developed multiple serious faults, including issues with the airbags and braking system. This is completely unacceptable for a vehicle sold under the “Approved Used†standard, which is meant to provide reassurance and reliability. To make matters worse, when we broke down, we were left waiting over 24 hours at the roadside despite having purchased the dealership’s recommended roadside assistance and warranty packages. Based on our experience and subsequent research, these add-ons are both more expensive and less effective than sourcing your own cover independently. The level of customer service has been equally disappointing. Communication with the sales team, particularly Mike and John, has been frustrating. We were given assurances that were not honoured, and there has been a clear lack of accountability and willingness to resolve the situation. Instead, we have been passed between multiple representatives, each claiming they are unable to help. Overall, this experience has completely undermined any confidence in the “Approved Used†programme. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before purchasing from this dealership or relying on their associated services.
Avoid this dealership because it will cost you money. Purchased a used car that had very low mileage of 8k on the clock but quickly we discovered the wiper blade was non existant and they advised it must have been stolen the first night we got it home, it hadn't been as we have monitored cctv at home, fast forward a mere just over 1000 miles later we have had to replace all 4 tyres at a cost nearing £1000 as the ones on the car started falling apart, we discovered they where 3 years older than the car. I am posting this feedback as they haven't acknowledged our simple request to explain why we was sold a very very expensive vehicle in this poor condition. We will now have this vehicle fully examined by another specialist as have lost all confidence in them and the car they sold us. AS SOON AS YOU HAVE PAID THEM THEY STOP RESPONDING TO YOU.

I've got an audi a1 and it has an sos fault on it and is still in warranty i phoned the day to see if they could fix this then gave me a date for the end of July I said I can't wait this long and they haven't gave me an alternative garage or help what so ever if anyone has ever had this fault they will know it is very annoying extremely bad customer service from audi so that's put me off my next purchase with them
As you will see from their reply, standard template reply despite having already submitted a complaint over 2 weeks ago. DONT BE FOOLED!! Still awaiting a response after almost 2 weeks. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction with the service I recently received at Lookers Audi on 17/03/2026. As a loyal Audi customer, I have always held your brand in high regard, but my recent experience has left me feeling frustrated and let down. The issues I encountered are as follows: The car was booked in for a service using the Service Plan and I reported a brake light faulty to be investigated. I was advised that the highly trained technician had spent over 2.5 hours on the car using the latest diagnostic tools and I would have to spend £750 on a part (BCM) then a further £750 on labour costs to resolve the brake light issue. All these errors relate to the fault with the brake light that I highlighted on arrival. No cruise control. No lane assist. No traction control. No start / stop function. No park assist. On collecting the car following the service I was then advised that I had to pay £360 for the diagnostics and time for the highly trained technician had reportedly spent on the car. I refused as I wasn't willing to pay for two faults as all the other faults are related to the initial fault I reported. The customer service agent (Calum) then spoke with the Service Manager, and they agreed to reduce it to £180. Not that I was happy about paying for this as the fault hadn't been identified correctly or repaired. So, after booking it into Audi Glasgow to be resolved I left with the car with the same fault and a grossly exaggerated repair bill that a highly trained technician diagnosed with the latest diagnostics technology. For Glasgow Audi to report to me that I must spend over £1500 to have the issue repaired and then £180 -£360 for them to review fault is completely unacceptable. Further investigation since the car was collected all faults have been resolved by replacing a 7.5 amp fuse in the main fuse box at a cost of 56p My expectation is that I have a FULL refund on the £180 I paid to Audi to diagnose. This experience has not only caused me inconvenience but has also shaken my confidence in the level of service I can expect from Audi. I chose Audi because of its reputation for excellence, and this recent experience does not align with the high standards I associate with your brand. I kindly request that you investigate this matter and provide an explanation for the poor service I received. Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could outline the steps you will take to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. I trust that you will treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and look forward to your prompt response. Unbelievably unreliable experience. Robert Smith had no idea what he was doing and a number of things went wrong. First he kept showing us sold cars, then charged us on the wrong account and laughed at it and the worst part was they told us the car would be ready today and it is not. Super unprofessional and lazy.
Absolute amazing service from Audi Tyneside, specifically from Les who works in the parts department. Someone had hit my wing mirror and I believed I would need a full new one, however, when I took my car to Audi, Les came out and had a look at it for me, he advised me to just get 2 new parts and that they would try to fix it with just these, if not it would have been a full brand new one. Within 3 days, the parts had arrived and I was asked to take my car in. Once at Audi, it took less than half an hour to fix. I am super grateful for the service given by Les and the fact I managed to save a little bit of money by just getting the 2 parts, so I just wanted to give Les a special thankyou for being absolutely brillant!
